André GABLE

André Gable was born in Belfort, France, in 1949. In 1961 he discovers painting and from then on is constantly in intense quest for colour and light.

In 1987 he settles in New Caledonia and then starts his painting wandering together with a solitary search to free himself from pseudo modernism.

Landscapes are his forte and oil his preferred technique with a particular liking for glaze.

He exhibits every other year at the Arte Bello gallery and in his workshop in La Foa, open to the public.
